Is a leader born or made? Some people are born with endowing abilities to be a leader while others are improving to some particular skills of becoming a leader.
“Leaders become great not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others.”
-John Maxwell
Some leaders used their power for empowerment. Subordinates lose their confidence due to leaders who are greedy to power, whose very obsequious almost to a servile degree. This kind of leadership is hypocrisy! Why? Because they are only claiming to have higher standards which is delusional.
Leaders nowadays thought that they are God, that they can do anything because of their position and power. Remember only God is God and people are people. God is perfect and people are not, God is good all the time but people changes.
In leadership you should prove the difference between success and failure. A good leader knows how to turn a vision into a realistic goal of success. “Honesty is the best policy” so once a leader is honest it is for sure the followers will follow the same values and core beliefs. This is called integrity! A truly good leader succeeds because of honesty and having an integrity as well.
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going, a song lyrics somehow I heard before that may pronounce positivity. If you are motivated and you sees every situation in a positive aspects well, congratulations! because you have the ability of being a leader. A truly motivated leader inspires their subordinates not only by words but through actions. Persuading other people is really a hard thing to do, but if you set a good example and you can handle it well your subordinates will follow you. That’s great!
A workplace is a place to admire and not a place to fear. Sometimes hearing the word “boss” is scary but in reality a boss or what we called manager is somehow the leader we have in our workplace. If we have a boss who are truly a leader we can establish a good rapport and maintain the peaceful and joyful environment while we are working. A boss who doesn’t take advantage but empower his subordinates is truly a leader. A person who doesn’t blame people but get every problem fixed resembles a good leadership. In a workplace where he always say let’s go and let’s do it instead of going and doing it by your own. A boss who doesn’t intimidate but relying on every people in his workplace are truly good leaders, he doesn’t command instead he ask and includes his subordinates opinion in every decision making. A good leader knows how everything is being done not just by knowledge but as well as by skills. The most important thing of having a good leader is the way he give credits to his subordinates not only to take credits by the work of others! When all of these traits are emphasized by a company on choosing their trusted leaders, every employee will lasts and love their workplace indeed. Be wise in choosing who will lead your company they may be a good one but sometimes they may be the pretenders and hypocrites...
